1. Run a small height package on the right side of the transport. The package does
not have to be on the right edge, just right of center.
2. Wait for the next command on the command line, approximately 15 seconds.
3. Run a tall height package on the left side of the transport. The package does not
ha
ve to be on the left edge, just left of center.
4. Wait for the next command, approximately 30 seconds.
5. The following message will be displayed in the “Detailed Status Area” with the
pack
age width and height used by calibration. Make sure the actual package
dimensions are within 25mm of the reported values. If they are not, stop calibra-
tion and recalibrate the position sensor.
Here is what you can check if the width is not within 25mm of the actual package
width.
• Run the package further from the conveyor edge.
• Check the position sensor for accuracy.
6. Repeat these steps until all cameras are calibrated.
Side or Bottom Camera(s) Calibration:
1. Run a package on the right side of the transport. The package should be 25-50mm
from right edge (or closer if possible).
2. Wait for the next command, approximately 15 seconds.
3. Run a package on the left side of the transport. The package should be 25-50mm
fr
om left edge (or closer if possible).
4. Wait for the next comand, approximately 30 seconds.
5. The following message will be displayed in the “Detailed Status Area” with the
pack
age width and height used by calibration. Make sure the actual package
dimensions are within 25mm of the reported values. If they are not, stop calibra-
tion and recalibrate the position sensor.
