TRIGGER AND FOCUSING DEVICE
SETUP AND CALIBRATION
FOCUSING DEVICES
The AV7000 focusing position is computed by the camera based on the position of the
parcel triggered and/or measured by a focusing device. The Datalogic focusing devices
may be one or more of the following:
• S-60 Photocell
•AS1 AREAscan™
• DLA Light Curtain (LCC-75xx AV7 Light Curtain)
•STI Light Curtain
• S-85 Positioning Sensor (DK-502 Kit)
• DM3610 Dimensioner
• DLA RangeFinder
This section provides detailed procedures on setup and calibration of your AV7000 Cam-
era and the necessary focusing devices installed for your system.
NOTE: Though it is unlikely to happen, a DM3610 and RangeFinder cannot
be installed and configured for focusing on the same system.
