9.2.2 Removing expansion cards
9.2.2.1 Required tools

Removing expansion cards:
– Phillips PH2 / (+) No. 2 screw driver
9.2.2.2 Preliminary steps
Perform the following procedures:
Ê "Opening the rack door" on page 64
Ê "Locating the defective server" on page 56
Ê "Disabling BitLocker functionality" on page 85
Ê "Shutting down the server" on page 65
Ê "Disconnecting power cords" on page 66
Ê Remove all external cables from the expansion card to be removed.
Ê "Extending the server out of the rack" on page 69
If further required, remove the server from the rack as described in section
"Removing the server from the rack" on page 70.
Ê "Removing the server cover" on page 72
Ê "Removing the air duct" on page 73
