6. Remove belt (A) from drive pulley (B).
7. Slip belt (A) over and behind knife drive box pulley (C).
Use the notch in the pulley to assist with belt removal.

8. Stroke the knife manually to its outer limit.
9. Remove bolt (A).
10. Remove grease zerk (B) from the pin.
11. Use a screwdriver or chisel in slot (C) to release the
load on the knifehead pin.
12. Use a screwdriver or chisel to pry the pin upwards in the
pin groove until the pin is clear of the knifehead.
13. Push the knife assembly inboard until it is clear of the
output arm.
14. Seal the knifehead bearing with plastic or tape unless it
is being replaced.
