5.4 Platform
Swing-away platform and stair units are provided on the windrower for access to the operator’s station and for engine bay
maintenance.
5.4.1 Opening Platform
Only the left cab-forward side platform can be opened.
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected start-up of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key before making adjustments to the machine.
CAUTION
Do NOT stand on an unlocked platform. It is unstable and may cause you to fall.

1. Approach platform (A) on the left cab-forward side of the
windrower and ensure the cab door is closed.
2. Push latch (B), and pull platform (A) toward the walking
beam until it stops and the latch engages.
5.4.2 Closing Platform
Close the platform after moving it to access the components behind it or the engine compartment.
