Setting Auger Speed
The auger speed can only be adjusted independently if the differential auger-reel control is engaged. This is a standard
feature on A40DX GSS Auger Headers, but an option on A40DX Auger Headers without the Grass Seed option. To acquire
this option, order Reel Speed Control kit (MD #B6604) from your Dealer.
If the differential auger-reel control is not engaged, the auger speed is automatically adjusted when you adjust reel speed.
NOTE:
When the differential auger-reel control is engaged, the minimum/maximum reel speed is dependent on the auger speed.
In some cases, in order to have the reel run slower or faster, you may have to decrease or increase the auger speed.

1. To adjust the auger speed, press soft key 2 on the HPT to
display RUN SCREEN 2.

2. Press scroll knob (A) on the HPT or SELECT button (B) on
the ground speed lever (GSL) to display the Quick Menu
system.
