6.10.4.9 protected
Table 338 protect command
6.10.4.10 secondary
Table 339 secondary command
Item Description
Syntax [no] protected
Context configure>service>ies>interface
Description This command selects the IES interface configuration and the associated configuration for the
interface that enables the interface to be operational (manage access from remote clients).
The command stores the configuration as part of protected configuration when the user issues
the admin software-management IHub database oam-save-protected command.
The [no] protected option de-selects the IES interface. When the user issues the
oam-save-protected command, the IES interface is not saved as part of protected
configuration. It is expected that the user will choose those interfaces that are used for
management access as protected - so that they can be recovered even after default-db
activation.
