Item Description
Syntax [no] ipv6
Context configure>service>vprn>interface
Description This command configures an IPv6 interface.
Note — When IPv6 routing is configured on the IHub and an
iBridge is configured on the LT board, it is not possible to obtain
a DHCPv6 lease when IPv6 multicast control is disabled on the
LT board. This is due to the fact that the NT board requires
adding the <IPv6, MAC> information in the Neighbour Cache
by sending a downstream multicast Neighbour Solicitation
message. If IPv6 multicast control is disabled on the LT board,
such messages are discarded and the DHCPv6 connection
cannot be established. To allow IPv6 routing to work correctly,
IPv6 multicast control needs to be allowed on the LT board.
