Description This command sets the metric added to routes that were exported into RIP and advertised to
RIP neighbors.
The no form of the command reverts the metric value back to the default.
Default no metric-out
Parameters metric — The value added to the metric of routes received from a RIP neighbor, expressed
as a decimal integer.
Values: 1 — 16

Description This command sets the route preference assigned to RIP routes. This value can be overridden
by route policies.
