8. Select "Apply".
The "System Config > System Configuration > External RF und I/Q" dialog displays
the settings of the connected external instrument.
9. In the "External RF und I/Q", select "Auto Connect > On".
Select "Preset behavior: Keep connections to external instruments > On".
10. Open the "External Instrument Configuration > Connections" dialog.
Select "Check Connections".
Observe the connection status indications.
The green color indicates that the required physical connections are in operation.
11. Before connecting the DUT, perform an internal adjustment.
a) In the block diagram, select "RF > On".
b) Proceed as described in the Getting Started Manual of the R&S SZU, chapter
Running Internal Adjustments.
Note: You can skip the internal adjustments, if you have already set up and per-
formed the measurement before.
But if you change the "I/Q Output Type > Differential to Single Ended", or vice
versa, the R&S SMW issues the following warning messge:
"SZU settings conflict: At least one adjustment is done in another mode than the
SZU is currently set to (single-ended / differential). Accuracy may be affected! "
12. When internal adjustments are completed, select "RF > Off".
13. Connect the R&S SZU to the DUT.
