Example:
In the following example, the marker signal is defined by an "On Time" = 1 and "Off
Time" = 2.
Marker mode CList
The instrument generates a marker signal that is defined in the selected control list.
The R&S SMW provides a graphical interface for convenient definition of control sig-
nals among others also for the marker signals.
Marker Minimum Duration
The period length of several marker signals is specified as several symbols/sample, in
one of the two ways: directly or as mathematical function, where the marker period
length is derived from other marker parameters. (See "Marker Modes" on page 232)
Irrespectively of the way it is defined, if the Wideband baseband is used, the duration
of the shortest marker period length is a value that depends on used sample or symbol
rate. The possible sample or symbol rates in turn depend on the installed options, see
Table 5-7.
