Thethreecirclesintheinformationpaneidentiestheoperationalfrequenciesifand
whenyouworkwithawidebandtransceiver.Thedottedinnercircleidentiesthe
highestfrequencyinthesweep.Thecirclebetweenthemidentiesthecentrefrequency.
ThisisbasicallythesameviewasintheEchoPositioninformationpane.However,the
shechoesarehereviewedfromaboveandnotfromtheside.
Bydefault,youhavetwoechogramsforeachfrequencychannel.Thepresentationis
splithorizontallytoshowtheseechograms.Theinformationpaneprovidesinformation
aboutitssource,thatisfromwhichechogramthedatacomesfrom.Thefollowing
sourcescanbeshown:

Beforeyouopenaninformationpane,youmustrstclickinanechogramviewto
makeit"active".Bydoingthisyouselectthechannel.Inmostcases,thedatainthe
informationpaneisonlyvalidfortheselectedchannel.Inthiscontext,thephrase
channelisusedasacommontermtoidentifythecombinationoftransceiver,transducer
andoperatingfrequency.
Youcaneasilychangethephysicalsizeandshapeofeachinformationpane.
Clickinitslowerrightcorner,anddragtoanewsize.Toresettheinformation
panetoitsdefaultsize,selecttheResetsizebuttoninitstoprightcorner.
TheTransparencyfunctionallowsyoutoadjusthowmuchyouareabletosee"through"
theinformationpanesyouhaveopened.Youcanadjustthesettingfrom0%(no
transparency)to90%(almostfulltransparency)instepsof10%.
