stopsbothtransmissionandreception,PassivemodewillstillallowtheES80toreceive
echoes.IfyouwishtoswitchtoPassivemode,usetheNormalOperationdialogbox.

willtakeplace.WhentheES80hasbeendisabledusingthisfunction,itwillstop.

Selectthisoptiontostartnormaloperation.TheES80willnowtransmit("ping"),
andthenreceivetheechoes.TheinformationisprocessedintheProcessorUnit,
andtheresultingdataareshownintheES80presentation.
TheES80willtransmitaccordingtothecurrentlyselected"ping"parameters.

TheES80willtransmit("ping")onlyifPingissettoOn.
Ifyouwishtoestablishapassivesystem(transmissionswitchedoff,butnormal
