TheTransceiverBrowsingparametersareusedwhenyouwishtostartanautomatic
searchfortransceiversonthenetwork.
ThecommunicationismadebetweentheProcessorUnit(identiedwithitsLocalIP
Address)andoneormoretransceivers.Tosearchyournetworkfortransceivers,check
thatthecorrectIPaddressoftheEthernetboardintheProcessorUnitisshown,then
clicktheBrowsebutton.AlltransceiversconnectedtotheProcessorUnitthroughthe
networkareautomaticallylistedintheFrequencyChannelslist.Eachtransceiveris
identiedwithitsapplicablestatuslabel.
LocalIPAddress
ThisistheInternetProtocol(IP)addressoftheEthernetinterfaceadapterlocatedin
yourProcessorUnit.Inmostcases,eachEthernetadapterhasauniqueIPaddress,
evenwhenitsupportsmultiplesockets.IfyouhavemorethanoneEthernet
adapter,youareprovidedwithalistoftheavailableaddresses.
TheEthernetboardusedtocommunicatewiththeES80transceiver(s)mustbeset
upinthesameaddressrangeasthetransceiver(s).
IfyouhavemorethanoneEthernetadapterinyourProcessorUnit:
•Setuponeadaptertocommunicatewiththetransceiver(s)usingtheIPaddress
andSubnetmaskshown.
•Setuponeadaptertocommunicatewiththelocalareanetwork(LAN).
