TheES80topbarislocatedonthetopofthedisplaypresentation,andstretches
fromthefarlefttothefarrightside.Thetopbargivesyoufastaccesstokey
functionalityandnavigationalinformation.Itprovidesbuttonstohideorshowthe
menu,tomakeascreencapture,toopentheMessagesdialogbox,andtoopenthe
contextsensitiveon-linehelp.Andmoreimportant,thetopbarallowsyoutosee
whendatarecordingisactive.
BReplaybar
Duringreplay,thededicatedreplaybarisshownimmediatelyunderthetopbar.
Thereplaybarallowsyoutoretrievesavedles,andtocontroltheplayback.
CEchogramviews
Bydefault,youhavetwoechogramsforeachfrequencychannel.Youcanchoose
whichtypeofechogramyouwishtosee.Ifyouhavemorethanonefrequency
channel,theechogramsforeachchannelcanbepresentedhorizontallywithone
overtheother,orverticallynexttoeachother.Inthiscontext,thephrasechannel
isusedasacommontermtoidentifythecombinationoftransceiver,transducer
andoperatingfrequency.
DInformationpanes
TheES80offersseveralinformationpanestoprovideadditionalanddetaileddata
fromtheES80presentation.Theinformationpanesareopenedandclosedusing
thebuttonsonthetopbar.Youcanchangetheappearanceoftheinformation
panestosuityourpreferences.Youcanchangethetransparencyandthephysical
sizeofeachpane.
EMainmenu
TheMainmenuislocatedatthetopofthemenustructure.Itoffersthe
mostcommonfunctionsforefcientuseoftheES80.Bydefault,the
Mainmenuisopen.ItispositionedontherighthandsideoftheES80
presentation.Onthetopbar,usetheMenubuttontohideorshowthemenu.
FSecondarymenus
ThebottomoftheMainmenuholdstheiconstoopen(andclose)thesecondary
menus.Selectanicontoopentherequestedmenu,selectitonemoretimetocloseit.
GBottombar
ThebottombarislocatedatthebottomoftheES80presentation,andstretchesfrom
thefarlefttothefarrightside.Thetabsonthebottombarallowsyoutochoose
channelandpresentationmode.Adedicatedtabprovidesaspecialviewforyouto
seethescreencapturesyouhavemade.Thebottombaralsoshowsyouthecurrent
colourscale,aswellasthetimeanddate.
