General Troubleshooting
ROM Test
This tests the printer’s ROM. If successful, the software version appears on
the display.
Pattern Test
This test prints one or all of the test patterns stored in ROM. These are used
to evaluate printer performance and operation. Refer to
“Test Prints” on
page 5-35 for test print descriptions.
