Theory of Operation
Image Input Terminal
The Image Input Terminal (IIT) generates the image data for copies and scans
and is made up of two major subsystems:
■ Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)
■ Scanner Assembly with the Control Panel
Automatic Document Feeder
The ADF automatically feeds original documents from the ADF input tray.
