ENTERING A PASSWORD FOR AN OPTION

ENVOY™ TRANSCEIVER REFERENCE MANUAL 85

Entering a password for an option

You may purchase new options for your transceiver, as required. You will receive a

26-digit option code that must be entered to enable the option in the transceiver’s

firmware. If you forget your admin PIN, contact Codan, quote the ESN of your

transceiver, and you will be given an option code for deleting the PIN.

To install an option in the transceiver:

1 From the main menu, select (Information), then (Option Password).

1 Enter the password.

As you enter the last digit, the option to Send appears.

1 Press (Send), then press (Close).

1 Restart your transceiver.
