Settings > Calling > General
The general calling settings enable you to set up how the transceiver behaves when it
receives certain calls, and how it performs an action when activity is detected on a
channel that you want to use. The general calling settings also include a number of
alarms and timeouts.

Call Types For Contacts
The Call Types For Contacts entry sets the call types that are available for
selection when adding or editing call information for a contact.
Available values: Selective, Channel Test, Message, Get Position, Send Position,
Phone, Get Status, Emergency, RFDS Emergency, Marine Emergency, ALE
Sounding
NOTE: The call types available depend on the options installed in your
transceiver.
Default value: all available call types selected
