Making a call from the Emergency key
You can set up an emergency contact with calls that are chained together when you
hold the key. Emergency contacts are set up in User Data > Contacts >
Emergency Contacts.
CAUTION: If you have more than one emergency contact, you will be prompted to
select the emergency contact that you want to call at the time of the call.
To make a call from the Emergency key:
1 Hold for 2 sec.
1 If you have more than one emergency contact, scroll to the contact who you
want to call, then press CALL.
1 If prompted, press or to scroll to the channel that you want to use, then
press CALL.
A is shown next to the currently selected channel/mode.
To abort the call before it is answered, press PTT or SCAN.
There will be audible beeps or a pop-up message to indicate that the call has
been successful.
