Settings > Security
The security settings enable you to set up how the encryptor module in the transceiver
behaves, and how you may select, edit or delete security keys.

CES-128 Mode
The CES-128 Mode entry sets the default secure mode of the CES-128 voice
encryptor. This mode is used each time you press SEC to go secure using the Global
key, or the selected Corp-xx key.
NOTE: You can change the secure mode during a secure session. This does not
change the value that you set for the CES-128 Mode entry.
If you want to:
use a secure key for encryption that is common to all Codan CES-128 voice
encryptors, select Global
use a secure key for encryption that has been created for use in your
organisation, select Corporate
Default value: Global
Privacy Code
The Privacy Code entry sets the level at which the CIVS scrambler operates when
you press
SEC.
NOTE: You may be permitted to change the level during a secure session by
holding SEC.
Range: 1 to 32
Default value: 21
