Commands
Command Differences From InfiniiVision 3000 X-Series Oscilloscopes
:ACQuire:MODE (see
page 267)
The ETIMe mode is available with the 1GHz or 1.5GHz
bandwidth models.
:CALibrate:OUTPut (see
page 293)
The TRIG OUT signal can be a trigger output, mask test failure, or
waveform generator sync pulse from either WaveGen1 or
WaveGen2.
:DEMO:FUNCtion (see
page 344)
The USB and NMONotonic functions are now available with the
DSOXEDK educator's kit license.
:DISPlay:VECTors (see
page 376)
The OFF parameter is available with the 1 GHz or 1.5 GHz
bandwidth models.
:FUNCtion<m>:OPERation (see
page 416)
The AVERage parameter is available for the Averaged Value math
function.
:MARKer:MODE (see
page 455)
You can now select the BINary or HEX marker modes.
:MEASure:SHOW (see
page 528)
This now has an OFF state when markers are not in measurement
mode.
:MEASure:WINDow (see
page 551)
This now has a GATE option for gated measurements between the
X1 and X2 cursors.
:RECall:ARBitrary:[STARt] (see
page 715)
There is now an option to specify which waveform generator to
recall the arbitrary waveform into.
:SAVE:ARBitrary:[STARt] (see
page 727)
There is now an option to specify which waveform generator to
save the arbitrary waveform from.
:SAVE:WAVeform:FORMat (see
page 748)
The ALB Keysight module binary format is not supported by the
4000 X-Series oscilloscopes.
:SBUS<n>:MODE (see
page 759)
The USB mode is now available with the DSOX4USBFL (USB 2.0
Full/Low Speed) or DSOX4USBH (USB 2.0 High Speed) serial
decode and triggering licenses.
:TRIGger[:EDGE]:SOURce (see
page 1169)
You can now trigger on the WGEN1 or WGEN2 outputs or, when
FM or FSK modulation is used, you can trigger on the WMOD
modulating signal output.
:TRIGger:MODE (see
page 1148)
The USB mode has been superseded by commands that are
available with the DSOX4USBFL (USB 2.0 Full/Low Speed) or
DSOX4USBH (USB 2.0 High Speed) serial decode and triggering
licenses. See “:SBUS<n>:USB Commands" on page 968.
:WGEN<w> Commands (see
page 1269)
With the built-in waveform generator's (with Option WGN license)
two outputs, you can use :WGEN1 and :WGEN2 to specify which
output you are controlling. :WGEN is the same as :WGEN1.
Maximum waveform generator amplitudes and offsets are also
different.
:WMEMory<r> Commands (see
page 1317)
<r> is now from 1 to 4 with four reference waveform memories.
