Automatic document feeder (ADF) assembly removal
1. Disconnect the cable (A) from the flatbed scanner assembly.
2. Lift the ADF assembly up and away from the flatbed scanner assembly.
3. Gently press a tool against the plastic tab (B) as shown in the following image.
4. Lift the ADF assembly and remove it from the machine.
FB CCD sensor assembly removal
1. Remove the large platen glass. See “Large platen glass removal” on page 4-234.
2. Remove the sensor (FB platen length). See “Sensor (FB platen length) removal” on page 4-263.
