1. Remove the primary filter. For instructions, refer to
Removing Engine Primary Air Filter, page 394.
IMPORTANT:
When replacing secondary filter (A), reinsert the new filter
as soon as possible to prevent dirt from entering the
engine intake.

2. Remove secondary filter element (A) from the canister.
NOTE:
If replacing the filter, refer to 5.1.5 Filter Part Numbers,
page 329.
3. Insert the new secondary filter element (A) into the
canister, seal first, and push it until the seal is seated inside
the canister.
4. Install the primary filter. For instructions, refer to Installing
Engine Primary Air Filter, page 395.
