1 (circle) = Baseband signals or basebands

Entity 1/2 = two self-contained independent systems, consisting of their own baseband part with possible
fading simulator and noise generator and an RF part
The Figure B-3 is an example of an Advanced mode configuration with two entities,
Entity 1 and 2, and also shows the functional blocks belonging to each of them.
