8.20 logging on
Use this command globally to allow logs to be displayed on different devices. Use the no form of this
command to disable this fucntion.

Logs are allowed to be displayed on different devices.
Global configuration mode
Log information can not only be shown in the Console window and VTY window, but also be
recorded in different equipments such as the memory buffer, the expanded FLASH and the Syslog
Server. This command is the total log switch. If this switch is turned off, no log will be displayed or
recorded unless the severity level is greater than 1.
The following example disables the log switch on the device.
Ruijie(config)# no logging on
Records the logs to a memory buffer.
Sends logs to the Syslog server.
Records logs on the expanded FLASH.
Allows the log level to be displayed on the console.
Allows the log level to be displayed on the VTY window
(such as telnet window) .
Sets the log level to be sent to the Syslog server.
