2.17 radius-server key
Use this command to define a shared password for the network access server (device) to
communicate with the RADIUS security server.
Use the no form of this command to restore the default setting.
radius-server key [ 0 | 7 ] text-string
Text of the shared password
Password encryption type.
0: no encryption;
7: Simply-encrypted.
No shared password is specified by default.
Global configuration mode.
A shared password is the basis for communications between the device and the RADIUS security
server. In order to allow the device to communicate with the RADIUS security server, you must define
the same shared password on the device and the RADIUS security server.
The following example defines the shared password aaa for the RADIUS security server:
Ruijie(config)# radius-server key aaa
Defines the RADIUS security server.
Defines the number of RADIUS packet
retransmissions.
Defines the timeout for the RADIUS packet.
2.18 radius-server retransmit
Use this command to configure the number of packet retransmissions before the device considers
that the RADIUS security server does not respond.
Use the no form of this command to restore the default setting.
