ETrawllines
Trawlsensorsystems(suchasSimradPI,PXandITI)communicateheadrope
depth,and/orthedistancefromtheheadropetothefootrope(trawlopening),tothe
ES80atregularintervals.Theinformationcanbeusedtodrawtheupperand/or
lowertrawllinesintheES80echogram.Youcanswitchthetrawllinesonoroffon
theLinespageintheEchogramdialogbox.TheEchogramdialogboxislocatedon
theActivemenu.
FThisisthebottom(seabed)
Thebottomisshownwithastrongcontour.Sincetheechogramisreferencedtothe
seasurface,thebottomwillvarywiththeactualdepth.Differentbottomconditions
willhaveavisualeffectonhowthebottomechoisdrawn.Ahardbottom(rock)will
giveyouastrongerecho-andthusadarkercolour-thanasoftbottom(mudorsilt).
TheEchogrampageintheEchogramdialogboxallowsyoutomakeadjustmentsto
thebottomcontour.Youcanaddablackbottomline,andawhitelinetomakethe
bottom"standout".Youcanusethehardnesslinetoindicatehowhardthebottomis.
