congurationmustbe
selectedandidentied
individually.
Youcanonlychoose
atransducerfromthe
Modellist.Whenthe
transducerisselected,
youmustprovideits
serialnumber,and
typeanamethatyou
chooseyourself.Once
atransducerhasbeen
installed,itislistedintheInstalledTransducersbox.Toseetheinformationyouhave
collectedaboutthetransducer,selecttherelevanttransducerinthelist.
Tip
JustmakingchangesandselectingOKatthebottomofthepagewillnotinstallanything.
Selectwhattoinstall,denetherelevantparameters,andthenselectAdd.
Onceatransducerhasbeeninstalled,youcanverifyitsoperationalconditioninthe
BITE(Built-InTestEquipment)dialogbox.

InstalledTransducers
TheInstalledTransducersboxlistsallthetransducersthatarecurrentlyinstalled
ontheES80.Selectatransduceronthelisttoedititsproperties,ortoremoveit.
SelectNewonthelisttoaddanewtransducertotheES80.
Model
Whenyouaddanewtransducer,youcanonlychooseatransducerfromthelist.
ThelistisgeneratedfromasystemleonyourProcessorUnit.Itcontainsallthe
transducersthatarecompatiblewiththeWideBandTransceiver(WBT),butsince
thesoftwareiscommonforseveralsystemstheremayalsobenon-compatible
transducersinthelist.Thelistalsoincludestechnicalspecicationsforeach
transducer.Youcannotseethisinformation,butitisusedbytheES80tosetup
theoperationalparameters.ThisallowstheWideBandTransceiver(WBT)to
optimizeitsperformancefortheindividualtransducermodels.
