TransceiverInformation
TheTransceiverInformationgroupshowsyouthetechnicalparametersfortheWide
BandTransceiver(WBT)thatisusedonthechosenfrequencychannel.Selectoneof
theitemsintheFrequencyChannelslisttoseetheinformationabouttherelevantWide
BandTransceiver(WBT).TheinformationprovidedunderTransceiverInformationis
notrequiredforoperationaluse.
ChangeIPAddress
EachWideBandTransceiver(WBT)isprovidedwithauniqueIPaddresses
createdbytheBOOTPserverintheProcessorUnitsoftware.Inmostcases,this
buttonisnotusedontheES80.
However,ifyouareusingasystemwitholderGeneralPurposeTransceiver(GPT)
units,thisfunctionmaybeuseful.TheGPTunitsareprovidedfromthefactory
withxedEthernetandIPaddresses.IfyourES80usestwo(ormore)GPTunits
withidenticalfrequencies,thesewillbydefaulthavedifferentEthernetaddresses,
butidenticalIPaddresses.Inorderforyoursystemtowork,allGPTunitsmust
haveuniqueIPaddresses.ThebuttonopenstheIPAddressdialogboxtoaccept
thenewaddress.
DownloadTransceiverSoftware
ItispossibletoupdatethesoftwareintheWideBandTransceiver(WBT).This
updateisonlynecessaryifnewfunctionalityintheES80softwarerequiresanewer
softwareversion.Softwareupdatesareonlyavailableifandwhendistributed
withtheES80operationalsoftware.Thesoftwarereleasenoteprovidedwillthen
includethenecessaryinstructions.

Thisinformationreectsthetypeoftransceiverconnected.Italsoshowsyouthe
transceiver’suniqueEthernetaddress.
