parametersareorganizedingroups.
•InstalledSensors
TheInstalledSensorslistcontains
allthesensorsthatarecurrently
installedontheES80.Select
asensorinthelisttoeditits
interfaceproperties,ortoremove
it.SelectNewinthelisttoadda
newsensorinterfacetotheES80.
•Sensor
IntheSensorgroupyouselect
whichtypeofsensoryou
wanttoreceiveinformation
from.Youmustspecifywhich
communicationporttouse(LAN
(LocalAreaNetwork)orserial
port).Youcantypeacustomnametoidentifythesensorimport.SelectInspect
Porttoverifythatthecommunicationparametersofthechosenporthavebeenset
upcorrectly.
•Datagram
Inthelistofvaliddatagramformats,selecttheformat(s)tobeacceptedbytheES80.
Ifnecessary,youcanalsospecifyaspecicTalkerID.
•Installation
Mostsensorsarephysicallymountedsomewhereonyourvessel.Foraccurate
measurements,theselocations-referencedtothevessel’scoordinatesystem-must
beknowntotheES80.
AsummaryofallthesensorsthatareconnectedtotheES80isprovidedintheBITE
(Built-InTestEquipment)dialogbox.
