Port
Inordertoimportthedatafromthechosensensor,youneedtodeneaninput
port.ThismaybeanyavailableLocalAreaNetwork(LAN)orseriallineonyour
ProcessorUnit.
Werecommendthatyousetuptherelevantcommunicationparametersbeforeyou
usetheport.Tosetupthecommunicationparameters,usetheI/OSetuppage.The
I/OSetuppageislocatedintheInstallationandOutputdialogboxes.
InspectPort
OnceyouhaveselectedaserialorEthernetcommunicationport,selectInspectPort
toinspectthecurrentportparameters.Therelevantportsetupdialogboxopens.
ThecommunicationparametersdenedforNMEA0183are:
•BaudRate:4800b/s
•DataBits:8
•Parity:None
•StopBits:1

checktherelevantdocumentationprovidedbythemanufacturer.
