5.3.3 Maintenance ladder
The following control points are in the upper-
carriage:
 Filler neck for diesel tank.
The maintenance ladder (98/1) is used for
mounting and dismounting. Steps and hand
grips (99/1) are mounted on the maintenance
ladder and on the uppercarriage.
Mounting
►
Open the flap (98/2) with the pin lock key
(in tool kit).
►
Snap the maintenance door (99/3) into
place in the locking device using the door
latch (99/4).
►
Pull out the ladder 99(2).
►
Climb onto the platform (99/5) in the up-
percarriage.
After dismounting
►
Slide the ladder (99/2) back into the hatch
and close the hatch. If this is not done,
travel and work functions are disabled.
►
Unlock the door latch (99/4) by pressing in
and close the maintenance door (99/3)
again.
