7.6.4 Maintenance and inspection plan

Fuel supply and diesel engine (without exhaust system)

7 Drain water from fuel tank.
8 Check the air filter pipe.
Charge air cooler intake area (drain lubricating oil/condensate)

intervals.
Clean the cooling fins of the water/charge air cooler.
h Shorten intervals if there is a heavy accumulation of dust.

Air conditioning compressor V-belt (tighten if necessary, replace if
damaged)
Main belt drive with tensioning pulley
15 Crankcase bleeder valve
16 Reed valve
17 Check valve lash on the drive engine (adjust if necessary, sooner if
there is noise)

Engine bearer, mounting parts, hose connections, clamps (replace
when damaged)
Check battery and connection cables
Engine monitoring, warning system (only by service personnel au-
thorized by the engine manufacturer)
h The optimum point in time depends on the conditions of use on
site and should occur after consulting with the responsible
dealer.
