• Before switching off the diesel
engine, engage the parking
brake.
• With the exception of emergency
braking, do not engage the park-
ing brake unless the machine is
stopped.
In an emergency: Administer first
aid, seek treatment from a doctor
Service brake
The service brake is used for braking during
travel. The lock is provided for temporary
standstill. The brake pressure diminishes after
the diesel engine has been turned off for
some time. Indicator (156/15) and the buzzer
indicate the status.

Apply parking brake or start diesel en-
gine.

Operate pedal (157/9). The braking effect
changes depending on the pedal travel.
