Loading machine not supported
Note the permissible carrying capacity for
"not supported".
n Turning the uppercarriage in an unsup-
ported state with a load is prohibited.
Align uppercarriage with lower carriage in
the longitudinal direction. Maximum of five
degrees deviation.
After the alignment, engage parking brake.
When the parking brake is applied, the os-
cillating axle is automatically locked.
5.16.2 Positioning the loading machine
Adapt the position of the loading machine
relative to the material to be loaded according
to local conditions.
loading equipment should be extended as
little as possible during working. Distance of
the material to be loaded 30-90% of the po-
tential reach.
But: n The steeper the boom, the worse
the view from the right cab window.
n If there is a danger of parts flying around
or materials escaping, increase distance
and close all windows.
The operating personnel must always ensure
a safe distance from the loading machine,
even without load.
►
If possible extend the outrigger (160/2).
The uppercarriage may then also be
turned.
►
If this is not possible, engage parking
brake (160/54). The oscillating axle is au-
tomatically locked. Align uppercarriage
and, when stopped, secure with the swing
brake (160/55).
