filter
Burns from hot exhaust system,
hot exhaust gas
• Maintain a safe distance.
In an emergency: Administer first
aid, seek treatment from a doctor.
All work on the exhaust system (even changing
the diesel particle filter) must only be carried out
by the diesel engine manufacturer or those au-

Diesel particle filters that can no
longer be reconditioned are haz-

waste disposal company to dispose
of these in an environmentally-
friendly and safe manner.

ply.

Burns due to hot fluids and sur-

• Oil is hot when the machine is at
operating temperature. Avoid
touching hot oil or parts carrying
oil.
In an emergency: Administer first
aid, seek treatment from a doctor
►
The oil level of the diesel engine must be
checked when the machine is positioned
horizontally (with the engine turned off and
after a short wait so the oil can collect in
the oil pan).
►
The oil must be between MIN and MAX on
the oil-level dip-stick (277/2).
►
If necessary, top up with oil until the level
reaches the upper mark MAX.
