4.5.6 Rear view camera

Danger of injury due to restricted
visibility
• The rear view camera is set to
the area behind the counter-
weight in the factory. The setting
must not be changed.
• The rear view camera is intended
as an aid only. Heed all other
safety instructions. In the case of
missing images or poor quality of
the display, the backup must be
stopped immediately.
In an emergency: Administer first
aid, seek treatment from a doctor

despite obscured view
If the accelerator pedals are operated, the
camera image automatically appears. If nec-
essary, the camera image can remain contin-
uously visible.

Main control display > Symbol (54/1)
Structure
The camera image (55/1) shows the rearward
area recorded by the camera, like in a rear
view mirror. If the connection of camera and
multifunction display has not yet been made
or is distorted Fig. (56/1) appears.
The camera image has priority over the main
control display. If a message is pending, the
warning symbol (57/2) on the button flashes.
Press the button (57/2) to exit the camera
image.
Operating note
To make the camera image appear continu-
ously:
►
briefly press the side function key next to
the button (54/1).
If the connection is made, the camera im-
age appears.
or multifunction button
►
Navigate focus to button (54/1).
►
Briefly press button.
