7.4.2 Fuel system
Burns due to combustible fuels,
lubricants and coolants
• The machine must only be refu-
eled when the diesel engine is off.
• Smoking is forbidden during refu-
eling. Risk of fire.
In an emergency: Put out the fire,
administer first aid, seek treatment
from a doctor
7.4.2.1 Fuel level
Check the fuel level on the fuel gauge
(254/37). If the fuel in the diesel tank is below
the reserve quantity of 5 %, the indicator
(254/25) lights up and the message (254/34)
"FUEL RESERVE BELOW 5 %" appears on
the multifunction display. To prevent conden-
sation forming before the next time the ma-
chine is put into operation, the tank must be
topped up with fuel daily after use.
Keep the level of fuel in the tank as high as pos-
sible to prevent condensation from building up.
Never allow the fuel tank to run empty, other-
wise the fuel system will need to be vented.
j

treatment from a doctor.
