7.4.2.2 Draining water from the fuel prefil-
ter
If the message (256/25) "Water in fuel" ap-
pears in the display, the fuel prefilter must be
drained.

ing operation
Collect the water/fuel mixture that
drains out in a suitable container.
Do not allow them to seep into the
ground or water! Give to an author-
ized waste disposal company to
dispose of in an environmentally-
friendly manner.
►
Open the drain valve (257/2) on the fuel
prefilter (257/1) and observe the liquid that
flows out.
►
Close the drain valve (257/2) when only
fuel flows out.
►
Dispose of the collected water/fuel mixture
properly.
