5.5.4 Switching off the diesel engine in a
controlled manner
As soon as the diesel engine is running, the
start/stop button (116/31) can be used to shut
off the diesel engine.
►
Press the start/stop button (116/31) briefly.
►
Diesel engine is automatically powered
down and switched off.
► Turn the ignition key (116/29) to the "0"
position.
5.5.5 Switching off the diesel engine in
an uncontrolled manner
ATTENTION
Do not switch the diesel engine off
when running at full throttle, but al-
low it to run for a short time at low
idle without load.
►
n Reduce the engine speed to low idle
speed, as far as possible manually, using
the multifunction button (116/15). Only
switch off immediately in an emergency.

Turn the ignition key (116/29) to the "0"
position.
The diesel engine turns off automatically.
