7.7.11 Venting the parking brake
h Carry out maintenance as described in
chapter 7.6.4 Maintenance and inspection
plan.
ATTENTION
Collect old oil with a suitable reser-
voir. Do not allow them to seep into
the ground or water! Give to an au-
thorized waste disposal company to
dispose of in an environmentally-
friendly manner.
►
Press and lock the service brake pedal
(304/9).
►
Release the parking brake (304/54).
►
Run the diesel engine at medium speed.
►
Open the vent plug (303/1) on the parking
brake.
►
When hydraulic oil which is free from bub-
bles flows out, close the vent plug (303/1).
