CARE AND MAINTENANCE 7
MHL360 E 7.73
7.7.22 Batteries
The batteries are located in the service sec-
tion below the platform.
ATTENTION
Before installing or removing the
batteries, the power supply must be
disconnected via the battery isola-
tor switch.
The battery manufacturer's instruc-
tions must be observed when using
the batteries for the first time.
The batteries may be damaged if
the battery voltage is too low. If the
indicator (332/16) shows a voltage
of less than 24 V when the diesel
engine is turned off, charge the bat-
teries.
ATTENTION
Dispose of old batteries in compli-
ance with environmental regula-
tions.
General
Keep the battery surface clean and dry.
Clean pole ends and cable clamps regular-
ly and then apply a thick layer of pole
grease to them.
When outside temperatures are low and
when the loading machine is switched off
for an extended period, check the battery
voltage regularly. Charge the batteries in
good time.
