5.19.8 Auto-idling system with automatic
engine shutdown (optional)
5.19.8.1 Operation
Using this function, additional fuel can be
saved and it reduces environmental pollution.
The function runs under the following condi-
tions:
The automatic idling system is switched on.
The automatic engine shutdown is switched
on.
Magnet system (optional) is switched off.
Regeneration of the diesel particle filter is
not active.
If there are no machine movements, the fol-
lowing takes place in two stages:
Level 1: Auto-idling
After a few seconds the engine speed is re-
duced to under the idle speed.
Level 2: Engine shutdown
The diesel engine automatically switches off
after a specified time (1 min - 30 mins).
After shutdown the ignition is switched on for
around 1 hour.
Switched on
Headlamps stay on for 1 hour.
Working floodlights are turned off immedi-
ately.
Settings in the service menu
Time until the engine is shut down:
Adjustment range: 1 min - 30 mins.
Factory setting: 10 mins.
Machine operator authorization
Factory setting: The machine operator
cannot turn off the auto-idling system with
engine shutdown.
ATTENTION
After starting the diesel engine, the auto-idling
system and engine shutdown are always
switched on.
