5.16.5 Operating the grab
ATTENTION
- Do not press, knock or beat with
the grab.
- Watch the hoses when lowering
the grab into a shaft.
The assignment of the four-way control levers
differs according to the control unit. Fig. 165
shows the ISO control unit.

The diesel engine is running, the left arm-
rest is flipped down.
Turning
►
On the right four-way control lever
(165/13), press and hold the button toggle
for the direction of rotation in question
(165/45 or 47) until the desired position is
reached.
Opening and closing
►
Move the four-way control lever in the de-
sired direction. The farther it is swung, the
faster the grab tines move.
►
If the load is securely gripped, release the
four-way control lever if possible.
