5 OPERATION

Starting travel
n The following applies for the signage in the
cab and the following description: cab is lo-
cated over the steering axle (155/1).

Switch off the parking brake button toggle
(155/54) and release the service brake
(155/9) if the pedal is locked.
forward
►
Operate pedal (155/10). Depending on the
pedal travel, the travel speed changes.
Reverse
►
Operate pedal (155/11) accordingly.
Switching direction of travel
j CAUTION
Danger of injury due to uncon-
trollable driving statuses
• Only change from forward to re-
verse traveling and vice versa
when the machine is at a stand-
still. Do not reverse.
In an emergency: Administer first
aid, seek treatment from a doctor
Stopping
►
Release accelerator pedal (155/10) or
(155/11).
The travel speed decreases until the load-
ing machine stops. The hydraulic travel
drive operates like a wear-free service
brake.
