SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION 2
MHL360 E 2.19
The glass body of the XENON lamp is filled
with various gases and metal gases and is
pressurized. (Risk of splintering!).
Never touch the glass lamp of the XENON
lamp, hold it only at the base.
Carefully remove fingerprints with a clean
cloth and spirit.
The XENON lamp should only be operated
in a sealed headlamp.
Should the XENON lamp burst in an en-
closed space, the room must be aired for at
least 20 minutes to eliminate health risks
due to gases.
Dispose of the old XENON lamp as hazard-
ous waste.
To ensure that the permissible current in-
tensity for the cable and plug connections is
not exceeded, do not connect any further
working headlamps in parallel with the exist-
ing ones; this will stop fuses blowing.
Do not replace fuses for electric circuits with
fuses that have a higher current rating
otherwise, there is a risk of fire!
ATTENTION
In the event of continuing starting
difficulties when switching on (flick-
ering light), switch the XENON
headlamp off immediately. Other-
wise the electronics in the ballast
might be damaged beyond repair.
