When the check box is selected, the item is enabled. When the check box is
clear, the item is disabled.
NOTE: If you select Clear Tx during standby, you must also select
Secure standby.
1 Press (Save) to save the information.

Using secure standby
Secure standby mode is available with the CES-128 voice encryptor only. It is
accessed via secure mode.
To use secure standby mode:
1 Switch on secure mode.
1 If you are using a 2220 Handset or 2230 Desk Console, press to go to secure
standby mode.
1 If you are using a 2221 Handset, do the following to go to secure standby mode:
•Press (Options).
• Press or to scroll to the Standby On option.
•Press (Select).
1 If you are using a 2220 Handset or 2230 Desk Console, press to exit secure
standby mode and return to secure mode.
