REMOVAL
(1) Disconn ect the n egat ive battery cable.
(2) Remove the exha ust hea t shield (Fig. 27).
(3) Disconn ect th e O2 sensor harness conn ector
(Fig. 27)
(4) Remove the O2 sensor (Fig. 28).
INSTALLATION
(1) In st all the oxygen sensor (Fig. 28).
(2) In st all the hea tshield and tighen fast eners to
9N·m (80 lbs. in.) (F ig. 27).
(3) Properly posit ion th e oxygen sensor wiring har-
ness and con nect the electrical conn ector (Fig. 27)
(4) Connect the n egat ive batt ery cable.
