exposed in the patched area, gr ind surfa ce down , and
apply a coat of high qu ality rigid pla st ic body filler.

STANDARD PROCEDURE - BUZZ, SQUEAK &
RA TTLE
Buzz, Squea k & Rattles (BSR) may be caused by
any on e or mor e of t he following and may be cor-
rected as indicated:
• Loose fast eners should be tightened to specifica -
tions.
• Da maged or missing clips shou ld be r eplaced.
• Da maged trim panels should be replaced.
• Incorrectly installed tr im pan els sh ould be r ein-
st alled properly.
Many BSR complaints such as loose tr im, can be
serviced using th e Mopa r! Parts BSR Noise Reduc-
tion Kit . This kit conta ins var ious tapes including
foam, flock and an ti-squ eak used to elimin ate noises
caused by met al, pla st ic and vinyl componen ts. Long
life lubr ican ts and greases can also be u sed on a vari-
ety of components. Refer t o th e Buzz, Squeak & Rat-
tle Kit ta ble for material conten ts and u sa ge.
